Hello again, I am back to tell the second part of the story from last time. Let’s see how Taiwanese people will help me find my camera.

After the taxi drove me back to the bus station, I quickly got myself off and walked toward the office. When I entered the bus station office, there was an old man sitting on the bench, I decided to ask him for help. He asked me about the bus detail, however, the bus I took is not the bus of this station. So he made the called to the nearest bus station after the call ended the man told me to waite for him for a minute. A few minutes later, the old man drove the motorcycle back with the camera hung on his shoulder. I gave him a small gift from Thailand for thanks and said thank you then I left to the high-speed railway station, or else I will miss the train.

This time I traveled to Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan. I desired to stay there for 3 days, and I have booked the room to stay via Air BNB. The room I booked is in the building located opposite to Taipei Main Station where every transportation stop located, the room owner was very kind and easy going, he gave me a lot of suggestion about where to go in Taipei, which restaurant serves good food and low price, and also the best way to travel around Taipei.

The first night in Taipei was very wonderful, I went to visit my Taiwanese friend at Ximending shopping centre. This place is similar to Siam Square in Bangkok, there are a lot of teenagers and high school students here.

After we walk around the place we decided to go to Shilin Night Market to find some street foods. Shilin Night Market is one of the famous night markets in Taipei, where there are many small shops in the middle of the street which are illegal shop since they do not pay the rental fee to the local government, so when the officers come the shops will be moved to the back of the building.

The second day in Taipei, I went to Gu Gong National Palace Museum in the morning, this place gathers more than 600,000 pieces of antique appliances and collections from Gu Gong (National Palace, China). The two well-known workpieces are the crafted jades in the shape of cabbage and streaky pork. The crafts are very scrupulous, the details are also similar to the real cabbage with small insects on its leaf. I spent around 4 hours in the museum learning some histories and absorbing the sense of China.

After that, I went to the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan, where I did not want to visit at first but when I got to be there I realized that this place is amazing. The place is full of small houses which equally shrieked into the smaller size and decorated like the real house. This museum also gathers many types of doll and toys, the ticket price is reasonable, the place is clean and neat. I agree that this place is another suggested place for family and children.

The third place I visited on that day is Taipei 101, I bet most of you know this place since it is very famous. Taipei 101 was the world's tallest building from 2004 to 2010; it is now 8th, The tallest part of the tower is 509.2 meters high and the tallest floor is 439.2 meters high. The 89th floor is the floor that allows people to visit, this building provides high speed elevators taking only 37 seconds from the 5th floor to ascend to the observatory at the 89th floor. The first two hours I was on the 89th floor the sky was unclear so I cannot see the city view, however, I wait until it stopped raining and the sky turned clear. The view from this floor was very cool. I can see the cloud soared passing the tower, I felt like I got the butterflies in my stomach when I step close to the mirror, it was another great moment for me and I will never forget that feeling.

The sun set around 7 p.m. and my stomach cried for food, I then went back to the place I stay by MRT and looked for hot pot restaurant around there. I found a restaurant named Mala Yuanyang Hotpot, this restaurant was very excellent! They served free alcohol, unlimited Hagendaz ice-cream, and many others delicious appetizers, its hot pot also delicious and full of quality. If you want to taste Mala hot pot I suggest you try this restaurant, there is also a promotion after 9 p.m. and the restaurant is easily found since it got many branches in Taipei.

This day counted as my last day in Taipei because the next day I left Taipei in the early morning to Jiufen, the best place in my heart where I want to left myself there forever. Let’s see next week how and why Jiufen wins my heart!
