UNSEEN THAILAND

Now, you can get to the paradise Only 3 hours drive from Bangkok!

It took more than two weeks for me and my friends to finalise where are we going for our summer-break trip. Finally, we ended up with the one-day trip to Danchang, Suphan Buri. If talking about Suphan Buri, we mostly think about the famous tourist attraction like temples, The Dragon Museum, or Samchuck Old Market. However, not many people know that Suphan Buri also has mountains and gorgeous sceneries.

We set off from Bangkok around 9 a.m. and stopped at the Noparatana Restaurant, Suphan Buri around 10 a.m. for our brunch. This restaurant serves Thai-Chinese food with a fair price and good quantity. After we finished a big meal, we headed to Danchang where our destination is.

Driving along the way to "Phu Fah Nham Organic Farmstay" in Danchang, Suphan Buri, I and my friends were surprised by nature and the scenery we did not expect to see. This place is about 80 kilometers away from the center of Suphan Buri and it takes about one and a half hour drive to get there.

While we were impressing with the scenery along the sides, we received the call from Mr. Richard, the farm owner. Good news! he told us that the kayak and the paddle board are ready for us to sail and go exploring the paradise. We were so excited and ready to go exploring. After 1 hour drive, we then arrived at the farm with the warm welcome of Mr. Richard and Ben, the most enthusiastic dog I have ever seen.

We were excited with the view of his place so much, the sky is clear, the weather is a bit cooler than it should be maybe because of the wind that makes us feel very comfortable. We wandered around his place and took a lot of photos and Ben did not forget to come along with us.

Mr. Richard and Ben took us around the farm, we went to visit the box stall where horses and lamps are living together. The animals here are very friendly and funny though, one of the lamps was enchained and kept separately from the others, it kept making weird noise maybe it was asking Mr. Richard to unchain. "This lamp is pregnant and I have to enchain her because normally she likes to jump over the stall to the nearby courtyard to in order to eat grass," said Mr. Richard. After visiting his lovely animals we went back to the shelter and get ready for the highlight of this trip, kayaking and paddling the board in "Lum Tha Pern Reservoir".

Here comes the most enjoyable part of this trip!

Around 3 p.m., the sun was shining brighter and stronger than the time we arrived but who cared! we have been waiting for this moment so long, so it was the right time paddling! Each of us grabbed our own paddle and headed to the bank of the reservoir. The paddle-board and kayaks were placed at the bank and ready for us to hop on, nonetheless, none of us knows how to step the board correctly so that the board would not flip upsidedown. It was very funny and we were able to learn the new lesson outside the class at the same time. We have tried two or three times to get on the board, eventually, we got the trick! One friend hold on the board for another friend to step on, Bang! we did it. When we got on the board another challenge we found is that we have to balance ourselves and firmly stand on it, or else, we might fall down from the board. We use less than one hour to get familiar with the board by paddling it to the other sides of the bank and visit a herd of cows. These are some photos that we have snapped during our journey in the paradise.

Me, paddling on the shallow water! LOL

We dragged our kayak and boats to the bank

My friend was tired of standing on paddle-board, so she decided to sit-down

Hello! Do you see us!? We are coming

After 3 hours of paddling, we were tired and hungry so we decided to go back to the farm and prepared to leave but Mrs' Hall (Mr. Richard's wife, who just came back from work) do not forget to help us packed some fresh vegetable! And before sunset we left the farm with the word 'thank you' and gave them back some remunerations. This trip was worthwhile and full of happiness. We are sure that we will go back to visit this place again, and we hope that this beauty will makes you feeling you are in the paradise.
